Hello, I've been working with our CtrlX Core inside the drive promoter demo. I was trying to get the OPC UA server working and went in and gave the boschrexroth user access to everything under the users. I got to some place where I then had to reboot the demo. After doing so I cannot log back in with the demo. I get a message like I've been using the username of boschrexroth and password of boschrexroth. There were no other users setup on our demo. Is there a way to factory reset the CtrlX core so that I can get access again? I did not see anything in the documentation I looked at. I did all the usual troubleshooting steps like power cycling the demo several times, power cycling my computer, clearing the cache in my internet browser, trying a different internet browser. Nothing worked. Right now I'm totally stuck and I'm supposed to demo this for a customer tomorrow.

Thank you for the reply. That procedure worked. I rebooted the CtrlX Core and the PLC application was in fact running. However, there wasn't much indication that there was a PLC program running. See the second screenshot I attached (the first screenshot is from my original download of the PLC program before rebooting). In fact the PLC app in the second picture says "No PLC application configured on device!" which makes it sound like there isn't a program running. Thanks for the help.

The REST API info was sort of helpful. The only real helpful thing there was to use the Developer Tools while using the CtrlX web interface to see how pushing buttons send commands to the CtrlX Core. My Bosch Rexroth local support sent me some screenshots of using HTTP requests (which use the REST API directly) to request data and command the drive. However, none of that worked. I did end up adding the CtrlX Node to the Node Red pallete in my implementation available on Github. Using the CtrlX node I was able to get all communication working. I believe this node sets up some of the base functions needed to communicate to the core with the REST API. It wasn't easy but I learned a lot along the way. The only issue I'm still having is with regards to the output of the CtrlX node. The help for the node shown in Node Red states that the node can be configured to return the data as a string, attempt to parse it as a JSON string or leave it as a binary buffer. However, the node does not show anyway to configure the output. Has anyone been able to configure the output of the CtrlX Node?

I created a simple PLC program that I'm able to download to my CtrlX Core demo and put into run more. It works and runs great. If I power cycle my demo and login again via the webpage, the PLC does not show any running program. I'd have to open PLC Engineering again and download the program to the CtrlX core again. In the "Online" menu bar option "Create Boot Application" is always greyed out no matter what state i'm in with the software. Is anyone having similar issues and if so does anyone have a way of resolving it?

Hello, I was able to install the NodeRed snap on my CtrlX promoter demo by downloading the snap file from Snapcraft. I was then able to add the CtrlX Datalayer node that is on Github to my install of Node Red. I've working on building a dashboard to go with my demo so I have web HMI / Dashboard for controlling the demo. I can read values from the CtrlX core including PLC variables and drive status but am having trouble figuring out how command/control/write to the core. Does anyone have a sample Node Red Flow or JSON file they could share that I could take a look at?
