Hello David08, am I right, you miss the EK1100 in PLC Engineering. Due the EK1100 doesn't have Inputs either Outputs it's not visible in "flat" view. To get the structured view, where the EK1100 is added as well, you have to enable the "Real-time-data in Data Layer View" and re-add the nodes. Than it should work. EDIT: At least ctrlX WORKS version 1.14 is needed.

Hello, we figure an issue with the Codesys Profinet Controller with ctrlX core X3 after replugging, when we unplug the Proifnet cable between the core XF51 and the Profinet Device. It will not work anymore. Logger see screenshot and XML. Interesting the order is different to normal case, in normal case the Init Device with Local IP setting occur at nearly the same time than the link up message came. In error case the Profinet controller came with link up and 5s later the IP / Interface settings are applied. It seems the Profinet controller try to work with "Local IP - suite changed to 0.0.0.0 / 0.0.0.0" instead of "Local IP - suite changed to 172.168.10.1 / 255.255.255.0". It looks for us like a timing issue. How can we get rid of this issue. What does the message "Controller-Status: currently active IP does not match the controller's configuration" mean, is there any possibility to check this, if yes, how?

Hello Alex, the cable length depends on the used protocol RS485 or RS232. The default cable length of the standard applies. The max number of devices is limited on the expected update rate of all in sum, since it's sequential. The EFC has 100ms reponse time.

Hello, Does you did an update or a fresh new installation? Does you tried a repair installation already? Can you please provide installation log files "C:\ProgramData\Rexroth\PackageManager\Logs\*.*"

Hello GP2, it’s a common Ethercat behavior. Devices which have a valid connection keep in OP state. But stop data exchange when at least one EC Slave is not in OP, it doesn’t matter Drive or IO. To get a more tolerant Ethercat system, each EC Slave device must be in its own SyncUnit or SyncUnit group. In a group all are affected. Details can be found here: https://docs.automation.boschrexroth.com/doc/1996056935/syncunits/latest/en/ The S20-EC-BK AD1 must be switched manual to OP again, because of its local bus. In old versions AC1 was a bug, that the S20 bus coupler must be switched to Init first and then to OP (can be seen with flashing D-LED in OP of S20 local bus). Hope this answers your observations.
