Note: the Panel version that i used is AE1. I have another panel that has AC1 version and does not work properly. I have seen F2901 and sometimes does not even is able to restore parameters.

The tool you will want to use instead of IO Engineering is either Indraworks DS or possibly ctrlX Drive Engineering (I haven't tested that personally) to confirm that the ethernet card is set to EtherCAT. The attached PDF offers some guidance as well.
