So the gear ratios can only be changed when the drive is in parameter mode (PM). I would recommend creating a POU in the PLC that checks the machine is in a safe state, then commands the drive to PM mode (or SAFE OP, works to if EtherCAT is your bus), then write the gear ratio parameters using the library CXA_EtherCATMaster. Then use the 'done' bit from the IL_ECATSoeWrite function block to check when to set the drive back to OP mode.

If you set the properties of the axes to be 'rotational' and 'modulo', then you will be able to rotate endlessly. If the axis is set to 'absolute' then it will hit those position limits set in the motion app.
Also I notice from your screen shot that the acceleration and decelration limits are very low and you may want to increase them. They are still at the default of 2 (set low for safety purposes)
The settings of the motion app provide a modular definition of your machine independent of the hardware used. So it doesn't automatically pull the servo drive settings of absolute vs modulo. But it does mean you can test plc and motion interactions before the physical axis profiles are connected. You just have to manually insure that the settings of the servo drive and motion app match for the real application or write a rest api script that does it for you automatically.

After further testing today, I was able to see the behvior on an XCD Drive. I also was able to see the problem go away on one of the XMD drives after several times unplugging and plugging back in the panel, but not on the other XMDs I tested.

I see this behavior in bb, AH, AB, and AF states.
The panels tested are Firmware 0116 and 0118.
The panel hardware is XDP1-N-128-NN-VSRSN-NN.
ctrlX Drive firmware is 5v04.01.
Interestingly for the hardware, I did not see this behavior on the XCD dual axis drives, only on the XMD dual axis drives, for example XMD2-W0606ANN-02NETM5NNNN-S0504N2NNNN5NN or XMD2-W1616ANN-01AETT0NNNN-S0504N2NNNN0NN
