Good Day,

Apologies if I am posting this in the wrong topic as I am new to the forum. 

I am trying to install the rexroth-3ddemo_1.0.1 snap onto my CtrlX virtual system but am getting the following error:

Error when installing app "rexroth-3ddemo": cannot perform the following tasks: - Ensure prerequisites for "rexroth-3ddemo" are available (cannot install snap base "core": persistent network error: Post https://snapstore.boschrexroth.com/v2/snaps/refresh: dial tcp: lookup snapstore.boschrexroth.com: Temporary failure in name resolution)

I have installed the Motion and PLC apps and am not sure if I am missing something.

My CtrlX and apps are version 1.18.1

which app do you want to install on your ctrlX CORE^virtual?

I'm sorry, but I'm not familiar with the snap you mentioned, maybe it's an old or prototype version. Where did you download this snap?

If you want to install the 3D-Viewer App, you can find the  long-time supported Version V1.12 here. In addition you can also find newer versions (e.g. V1.18) which have PT status in the collaboration room. 
Please keep also this in mind if you want to download versions with PT status.

Hello Jan,

Nick is right. The app you described is only a very early demo. Therefore it is located in the "Internal" folder. Please use the 3D Viewer App for 3D visualization and kinematics simulation instead.

Yes, it was one of the original snaps. Thank you I will install the 3d viewer app and give it a try.
