CtrlX PROFINET device PND-V-1.14.1 App description and documentation

Hello,

I saw that in the new CtrlX 1.14 release there is a new app "PROFINET device PND-V-1.14.1" . I supppose it is to manage the profinet communication between CtrlX adn otheer devices and I was trying to understadm how it works but when I try to inser a new device I got the errer you have in the attached screenshot. Maybe I'm doing something worng but I could not fint any documentation or description about how this app works. Could you please help me to understadn how it works and how to configure it ?

how old is the ctrlX core plus, a prototyp or latest production? How is the LED state of the com.2?

to make it more clear.

This message comes up if you want to add a profinet device to HW which has physical no profinet device port. Currently we have two HW variants

• ctrlX CORE plus with MultiEthernet
• ctrlX CORE in DRIVEplus

Here you can add a profinet device.

If you have one of this two HW variants and you get this message (after adding the profinet device) than it seems that you have a kind of prototyp like cc2go mentioned. For this please go in contact with our product management.
