I am having the following diagnostic when adding a SAFEX-C12 in an EtherCAT network (ctrlX CORE as a master): 0x001E: Invalid Input Configuration.
The xml imported is the one for FPGA211.

Do you have any idea of the reason?

Mismatch between ESI-files and Firmware version?

Activation of "Slave network interface" was the problem. Once disabled, the problem was solved.
This configuration activates the FSoE Slave functionality.

Hello @dhg ,
yes, as mentioned in the forum entry https://developer.community.boschrexroth.com/t5/ctrlX-SAFETY/SAFEX-C-as-FSoE-master-and-EtherCAT-sla...
the introduction of FSoE-Slaves to the FSoE-Master functionality or the activation of FSoE-Slave changes the population of the FSoE-Slots in the EtherCAT configuration of the SAFEX-C.1x device. If the EtherCAT configuration on the EtherCAT-Master does not match to it, you get the "0x001E: Invalid Input Configuration" error.
