I wanted to use my ctrlX users and user groups in order to login and manage access rights in a PLC project, but I am facing some problems.
This was my approach:
- I have been able to map my PLC project user groups to the ctrlX user groups:
- I have used the visualization provided in a Codesys example:
- Under Visualization Manager -> Dialog Settings I have this:
- Using the PLC Engineering UI in online mode, the application works as expected. I can see my user information, and use all the available operations: login, logout, change password and user configuration.
- When I access Webvisu I get the following message:
- I dont' know if it's related, but when I download the project to the ctrlX I get the following error message. Despite this, the project is able to run after download.
- I have used the same application, but changed the user management setting to Legacy mode, and it worked fine, both using the PLC Engineering UI in online mode, as well as using WebVisu.
Is this the correct approach to get the result I am looking for? Is there a way to solve the problem I get in WebVisu? (If necessary I can upload my project)
