Visualization Input Configuration:File Transfer

Hello.

Is the Input Configuration:File Transfer possible feature in visualization?

I read from Codesys forums that it needs to be enabled from configuration file:

[CmpWebServerHandlerV3]
AllowFileTransferServices=1

 Is this allowed/possible with Core?

Hi,

currently the user is not able to modify the cfg file. We're working on a mechanism that will allow the user to access specified settings within the cfg file. So currently the setting must be set by our system firmware. We will add this requirement to the backlog.

Hi, is there any updates to this? we need to be able to transfer files to WR panels. I believe this mechanism should work. but we need to do modifications to the cfg file.

We need to enable file transfer to webvisu client.

An HTML5 visualization running in a web browser can't access the hosts file system though, so it's still not clear to me what you want to do. Because even if you save a file on the device, e.g. via ftp, the browser cannot access it.

They can with a prompt, right? User would just need to confirm file upload or download.

They just need a means of exchanging the file between the devices.

@Sgilk Upload and download could be a workaround, but I still miss a detailed description of what they want to achieve to be able to discuss possible solutions.
