How to display comments of PLC variables in the Datalayer

With PLC variables it is possible to add a comment and include this comment in the symbol configuration.

How can we now display this comment in the datalayer? (core and app versions of RM21.07)

At the moment there is no possibility to get this information to the Data Layer. I will talk to our R&D if and how we could implement this.

This feature was implemented in the PLC runtime app version 1.12.

Please make sure you have following settings:

Then you will find the comments in the Data Layer:

PLC variable bTest in GVL_Test
