I saw in the newest Motion App it is possible to create Working Areas / Safe Zones. I can even Configure multiples of these. This is great and good Work!
Is it possible to select which Safe Zone I want to work with through the Data Layer / PLC Program? So can I switch between different Safe Zones depending on which part of the PLC I am currently executing.
Same question concerning safety; Is it possible to switch from one Safe Zone to another when a safety switch was triggered, e.g. someone walks into a greater Safe Zone, it will automatically switch to a smaller one?
Thank you.

Yes, the configuration and activation of the working area and the safe zones can be read and written via Data Layer.
Details are also described in the documentation of "ctrlX MOTION" --> "Commands" --> "Kinematic command options" --> "Working areas/safe zone" in the chapter "Data layer node".

Perfect! Thank you,
I tried to look for it in the documentation but I could not find it myself... Seems I still need to learn to look better 😜
Concerning my second question, is it possible to integrate these Working Areas with the safety Engineering?

These areas/zones are part of the standard motion and not of the safety engineering. So they are configured and calculated on the non safe side.
