Hi,
I've noticed that when I insert a display on a ctrlX drive (when powered up), this works normal the first time: the display shows the current drive state, all functions are available (panel/type plate/device functions/etc). When the display is removed and another display is inserted, error message F2901 (communication error) appears. On the display it is only possible to browse through the panel settings (as if the drive panel is connected as USB device to a pc), the other options are not visible. It is possible to make a USB-C connection to a pc.
If the first display is inserted back into the drive, all functions are available again. It seems like the drive only accepts the first display that is connected after powerup, and rejects others. After a reboot any other display that is connected first shows the same behavior.
This makes it impossible to use the display for quick diagnostics (view error code, no usb-c connection to pc required) on a drive in a running machine to which another display has been connected since the last reboot of the drive. Is there a way to make the drive ' accept' a connection to the second display, without rebooting the device?

I have seen the same behavior with FW V118 and FW V116. I'm curious if there is some intention behind it or if we might be able to get the flexiblity you are requesting in the future.

Note: the Panel version that i used is AE1. I have another panel that has AC1 version and does not work properly. I have seen F2901 and sometimes does not even is able to restore parameters.
