Hello, I want to control a Rexroth device via LabVIEW using the EAL4 package. I've installed via VIPM and could build a simple project with a .vi running on the pc. But, I want to control the device in the cRIO, the issue is that When I deploy a .vi from eal4 library, the .vi is corrupt saying "Constructor node: node not supported in current target error". Do I need to install more software on cRIO to make it work ?
I'm using cRIO 9045 with LabVIEW 2023.

Hello, our experinece with cRRIO is only as EtherCat COE master, not with EAL. Is this a option for you?
I think the challenge is to install or store the "EAL.dll and SIP.dll" on your cRIO system (Linux?). Please check this case, how it should work with cRIO, with your NI support. In our SDK we have a solution for Linux system, but there I have no experience.

I am also trying to connect my Rexroth device (Indradrive Hcs01) to my cRIO 9048. Iwas able to configure the Indradrive to use EtherCAT CoE and import the Ethercat slave xml file to the cRIO but I am not able to use the EAL library on the cRIO. it seems that Library was only for a PC not the cRIO which runs on Linux-RT. You mentioned a solution for Linux system, could I have more information on that?

Hello,
the EAL library is a non Realtime solution, so normaly only useful for non Realtime controller (PC). In your case is an EtherCat solution the right one, in this case you can control the drive via EtherCat CoE, for example with shared variables. The acyclic communication with SDO telegrams.
