Could you please more describe, what you want to achieve?

If you connect a USB to LAN adapter you can configure it via the web UI of the ctrlX OS. See "Settings -> Network Interfaces":

ctrlX CORE web UI - Network interface - USB LAN adapterctrlX CORE web UI - Network interface - USB LAN adapter

Bridges can be added to Network ports on the same UI page. See also topic "Bridge Port XF51 as 'Switch'":

WE are currently using the PR21 devices , and we configured them as like above picture. Is it possible to do same in Core X3 devices ?

I still do not get the problem. You can configure an LAN adapter that is connected to a ctrlX CORE via its web UI like any Network adapter available to it. I added a screenshot above to make it more clear.

but did you get my issue ? Can we do really below settings ?

The "bond0" represents the setting of the Ethernet ports to DHCP and the activated active bonding of both ports.

The "br0" represents the setting of Bridge-Mode between the used Ethernet port and the USB port.

Bridges can be added to Network ports on the same UI page. See also topic "Bridge Port XF51 as 'Switch'". Also updated post above to have all information in one place.

Hello 👋

There are several steps required for set up a core x3 device with a USB LAN bridge. use a USB port to link the USB LAN bridge to the core x3. On your pc; install any required drivers for the USB LAN bridge. Next; use a web browser and specific software to get to the network settings on the core x3 device panel. Set up the network setup such that the USB LAN bridge is identified as the network device. Make that the bridge has been set up to get an IP address.

did you get it correctly ? WE need to do Lan2USB bridge.  We will get a IP adress from DHCP server, and we will transfer that IP adress over USB directly to a Electronic. We do not need any extra USB port, we will use 1 Ethernet port and 1 USB port for the programming. Could you please show the that solution in Core X3 . After that ethernet settings should be as like below.

Hello,

We can not see below en806xx...... ? Do we need to some setting change in before for LAN-USB Bridge ?

Hi @sac1cky

if you mean with "see below en806...." checking setting on the command line, this is not possible.

It works like @CodeShepherd already showed:
1. Create a bridge by clicking on th "+" in the top right corner
2. Click the new created bridge, it will by default start with the IP address 192.168.2.1 and additionally DHCP Client enabled
3. Add the network interfaces you want to bridge to your bridge, the individual IPs of the interfaces will become invalid

I hope this solves your problem, otherwise please discribe a bit more in detail which step is not working for you.

Hello Dear All,

Actually we need to inverse connection Ethernet to USB bridge, could you please re-check the topic ? Because that settings is not hleping to our problem.

we need to bridge the USB X01 port with the XF51 LAN port of ctrlx Core 3 device. We would like to transfer IP adress to directly to our electronic PCB.

Hi @sac1cky

is it such a device you want to connect to the XF01 USB Port?
Delock Products 62642 Delock Adapter SuperSpeed USB (USB 3.1 Gen 1) with USB Type-C™ male > Gigabit ...

Or something different?
Can you send an example to get it more clear for us?
