Apps not working due to fake service mode warning

Hi,
We have found a unique issue in ctrlX CORE which has appeared for the first time. The ctrlX CORE was not working as per setup. On checking, it was found that the ctrlX CORE was showing a false warning of "Service mode is activated". Due to this issue, the apps were not working and no storage or processing issue was observed on ctrlX CORE.

Please find attached the System Report and screenshots which were taken before restarting the device. After restart, it started working normally.

In the logbook there is an PLC exception mentioned.It seems that this causes our automationcore to crash, what results in the web UI identifying service mode.

Could you please extract the PLC internal logger for more detailed information?

Also some system apps could/should be updated to latest release:

• Linux kernel to 1.12.2
• snapd to 2.57.6

They are part of "System Apps 01.12.9" package that can be found in the ctrlX STORE area on the collaboration room.

Hi,

Thanks for the response and help. I have updated the required system apps. Unfortunately I couldn't see old logs after the system restart. I'll keep an eye on the PLC exceptions with the same program and post an update in case of any finding(s). Thanks
