Overview

This is an overview of the ctrlX World partner information sources, how-to register and work with them.

We have four ctrlX World partner information sources:

ctrlX AUTOMATION Community - this community with forums for your questions, the ctrlX Store with the exiting apps and this How-to section. Please get a personal login, it is separated from the following sources.
ctrlX World Partner Portal - this is our external sharepoint for our collaboration with ctrlX World Partner. Here you will find the legal framework, marketing information, app development and release information and you have your partner folder for all data exchange.
Software Repository Collaboration Room - We store all our software there: the engineering tool ctrlX WORKS with the virtual ctrlX CORE control and the ctrlX Apps.
Software Development Kit @ GitHub - Public repository incl. examples, documentation and the ctrlX CORE App Development Guideline.

1. Register as ctrlX World Partner

• Go to www.ctrlx-automation.com/ctrlx-world-register 
• If you have not signed in with a Bosch ID already, follow the next steps

Register as ctrlX World Partner

Step 1 : Click on "Not registered yet?"

Step 2 : Register your email address and password

Step 3 : Activation email will be send

Step 4 : Activation email received - Click on "Activate account"

Step 5 : Confirmation message - Click on "Continue"

Step 6 : Login with newly created Bosch ID

Step 7 : Further user information needs to be added to the profile

Step 8 : Accept Terms and Conditions

Step 9 : You will be forwarded to our ctrlX Software Repository

2. ctrlX AUTOMATION Community

This community with forums for your questions, the ctrlX Store with the exiting apps and this How-to section.

Registration

Registration for ctrlX AUTOMATION Community

Step 1 : Click on the icon "myRexroth"

Step 2 : Accept Terms of the Service

Step 3 : Define your username

Step 4 : Confirmation

3. ctrlX World Partner Portal

This is our external SharePoint for our collaboration with ctrlX World Partner. It contains:

• General information about the ctrlX World Partnering Process (legal documents, descriptions, logos, ...)
• Your Partner folder for data exchange

Registration / Activiation of your user

• Registration of your user (xxxxxx@bosch.com + Password) will be initiated by your Partner Manager
• You will receive a part of your password and the one-time-password for the multifactor authentification from your Partner Manager
• You will receive 2 emails from the Bosch IT
• Activation of your user below

Activiation of your user for ctrlX World Partner Portal

Step 1 : Get the first email with first part of your password

Step 2 : Gets email with information about MFA - multi factor authentification

Step 3 : Activate MFA - multi factor authentification - Login with new user name and combined password

Step 4 : Activate MFA - Login with new user name and combined password

Step 5 : Enter OTP one time password and mobile phone number for multi factor authentification calls

Step 6 : Confirmation of successful enrollment

Step 7 : Change start password of user

Step 8 : Confirmation

Login

• Please use your Bosch specific user name like xxxxLO@bosch.com and password.
• There will be a multi-factor authentification call to your mobile phone which you will need to confirm by pressing "#" every 4 weeks.

4. Software Repository Collaboration Room

We store all our software here.

Registration

• You will get access with your registration as ctrlX World Partner

Login

• Please use your standard user name (company email address) and password to login

Content

• the engineering tool ctrlX WORKS with the virtual ctrlX CORE control
• the ctrlX Apps from Bosch Rexroth and ctrlX World Partners
