WebIQ widget behaviour differs on each device and each browser

Hi,

I'm having issues using the standard widgets in WebIQ.

I have no issues creating/viewing the project on my laptop with firefox/chrome, but when I display it on the CtrlX HMI using chrome/chromium the iFrame doesn't display the device-dashboard correctly (http -> https issue). I've read this issue on this forum but there was no solution. Will/can this be fixed sometime?

I tried to use the other browser that is installed on the CtrlX HMI (I forgot the name). The iFrame widget does work, but then i get another problem.

The recipe edit widget won't display any variables/arguments using this browser. This wigdet is a bit of a pickle anyways because it doesn't scale. Will/can this be fixed sometime?

both issues don't show when using the browsers on my laptop.

Kind Regards

1. Browser version - a Chromium-based browser currently needs to be at least Chrome 78-based - please also see here
2. Embedding HTTPS in an iFrame on an HTTP page or vice versa (because of web technology - this has nothing to do with WebIQ specifically) can either be possible or not - also, the correct HTTP headers might need to be set - when opening the browser console with F12 you'll usually see a corresponding error you can google
