Trouble Connecting WebIQ and CtrlX CORE Virtual

Hi everyone,

I'm running into a bit of trouble establishing a connection between WebIQ and CtrlX CORE Virtual. I've set the CtrlX CORE Virtual "Extended" settings to "Port forwarding", but I'm still unable to get it working.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Did you already trust the certificate via "Settings -> Certificates & Keys -> OPC UA Server"? As the client will sent his to the master and it needs to be trusted there.

Did you try using IP 127.0.0.1 instead of name of the control?

Like mentioned certificate have to be trusted on master side. It can be done via the ctrlX OS web UI:

ctrlX OS web UI - Settings - Certificates and Keys - OPC UA Server

I have already trusted the certificate but I'm still unable to get it working.

Try specifying the ip address rather than the VirtualCore-2 in the WebIQ OPC UA client. Can you reach the OPC UA server from another client?

Hello,

On the first view, I miss the user authentification inside your OPC UA configuration. Did you delete this setting for the screenshot or wasn't it set at all.

The OPC UA server requests a authentification via user/password, without authentification a connection is not possible.
