CoE Master using Codesys Soft Motion

We have a customer who needs to use low voltage DC servos. We have found some Maxon IDX servo drives but they only have CoE communications.

Can we use Codesys Softmotion as a CoE master? Motion requirement is single axis point to point moves.

Sorry, the ``Softmotion adaption layer`` is not support CoE yet.

According to last release milestone training, the CoE adaption should be implemented. This should now be possible right?

COE has been supported by the CtrlX Motion App for some time now. Below is some info on using 3rd party COE drives with the CtrlX Motion App.

Not to be confused with the CoDeSys Softmotion add on. For that, i believe it only supports SOE for now.

Both ways use PLC open function blocks for motion so in someways they are very similar from the PLC programmers perspective.
